WHAT: Inaugural edition of the American Century of Bikes & Brews WHEN: Sunday, August 30, 2015, rides start at 8:00, 9:00 and 9:30 am WHERE: Loudoun County Fairgrounds, 17558 Dry Mill Road, Leesburg, VA 20175. WHY: A nostalgic and beautiful bicycle ride for those that love mixed surface riding. Â The American Century ride takes place on Sunday August 30th. Event Description Mixed-surface ride, 32-40% gravel, depending on the course. 100% sealed surface ride available too. A rare and beautiful cycling event (30 August, 2015) for those that love mixed surface riding, handbuilt bicycles (vintage and/or from the modern era), cycling history and craft brews. As its name implies, the American Century of Bikes & Brews focuses on the rich American cycling culture, as well as fine bicycles from the past and present from all over, in addition to the mentioned excellent riding country of west Loudoun County... and of course a nice cool beer at the end of the road. |

Route Options Long Route: For advanced cyclists - 75 miles, 32% gravel - begins at 8:00 am Short Route: For intermediate cyclists - 41 miles, 40% gravel - begins at 9:00 am Seersucker Ride: For all kinds of cyclist looking for a conversational ride on easy enjoyable trail  - 16 miles, all paved - begins at 9:30 am and includes morning tea stop. |
