Adam Shpigel, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist, specializing in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Shpigel earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. He then went on to complete his internship and residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in in Baltimore, MD. After his residency, Dr. Shpigel completed a fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Patients can visit Dr. Shpigel for disorders of the heart, veins and arteries. He treats coronary artery disease, myocardial infraction, heart valve disease, aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation and many other diagnoses. He offers echocardiograms and nuclear stress testing in the clinic. Dr. Shpigel also specializes in a variety of procedures, including cardiac catheterization, coronary stent insertion, coronary angioplasty and TAVR (catheter-based aortic valve replacement) procedures.
