Ariel Blanchard, DMD, serves as the program director of the general practice dental residency. She is an assistant professor of surgery in the division of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and assistant attending surgeon at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. She received her dental education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, Jersey. Upon graduation in 2013 she returned to New York City, where she had previously earned a Bachelor of Arts at Barnard College, to complete a general practice residency at Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital and Nursing Facility. In 2014, Dr. Blanchard completed a 1-year fellowship in Dental Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center followed by a 3-year Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology residency at New York Presbyterian Queens. After completing her Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology residency, Dr. Blanchard returned to the clinical practice of general dentistry, oral oncology, and the clinical treatment of oral and mucosal diseases. Dr. Blanchard joins Weill Cornell from Bellevue/NYU where she was a Clinical Assistant Attending and the Director of the Adult Dental Clinic at Bellevue Hospital Center and an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry in the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Radiology and Medicine Department.
