David Rowan, M.D. earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Medical Center of Central Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Mercer University College of Liberal Arts and is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Rowan has been practicing medicine for six years. He has a special interest in preventive care and general medicine, with a goal of helping people achieve maximum quality of life. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians at White Oak he worked for Alpha Internal Medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Rowan enjoys spending time with friends and family, including outdoor activities like biking, tennis, and visiting local parks, and indoor activities such as Wii Dance with his daughters and the occasional movie rental. He also enjoys local travel, trying to take the family to the mountains and beach once per year. Dr. Rowan is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
