Diane Stevens is a physical therapist at the University of Vermont MedicalCenter. She specializes in oncology rehabilitation, orthopedics, andpulmonary rehabilitation. She treats patients with vertigo andmusculoskeletal pain using treatments such as manual therapy. Her researchinterests include outcome measures.Diane chose to be a physical therapist when she was 5 years old due to theinfluence of her father. She finds it rewarding when her patients are ableto perform a task they have not been able to do in a long time, are able tomanage their disease symptoms better, and are safer moving or theirsymptoms/pain have resolved.Diane is proud of being part of developingSteps to Wellnessand theoncology rehabilitation program. She is also the first physical therapist to join thepulmonary rehabilitationteam.
