I have always wanted to be a physician since I was a child and even have old school assignments from as early as the 3rd grade stating I wanted to be a doctor. I have always been drawn to medicine and helping people. My philosophy of care is simply the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I try to approach patient care the way I would want someone to take care of my family. Every woman I see is someone's mother, daughter, sister, niece, etc. Outside of work, I am devoted to my family and my church. I enjoy helping my husband with the new community youth choir he founded with the middle and high schools called Eden Youth Unity choir. I also enjoying spending time with our young daughter and watching her grow and develop. I am fortunate to live only 45 minutes from my parents so I am still very involved with them as they are aging. One of my older brothers also lives close and I am able to catch various events of my nephew and niece when I can.
