Hanna Liljegren, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedic surgery. She completed her medical training at Saint Louis University in St. Louis.
As a physician assistant, Hanna sees patients ages 13 and above for various injuries, defects, or diseases of the foot and ankle and general orthopedic care. Hanna helps manage arthritis, sprains and fractures, flat foot deformity, ankle instability, bunion correction and foot and ankle pain.
Hanna chose orthopedics because she has played sports her entire life, starting in kindergarten and playing soccer in college. She continues to enjoy sports, studying body motion and the amazing things our bodies can do. One of her goals is to help patients maintain the gift of movement.
Hanna believes the patient is an essential part of their care team, and treatments are shared decisions between the patient and provider. The most successful treatment plans and recovery are based on the patient’s needs and goals.
Hanna is originally from Collinsville, Illinois. Outside of work, she is an assistant high school soccer coach and an active volunteer with local charities. She also enjoys playing soccer for a league in O’Fallon, Illinois.
