As he was making his way through his medical school rotations, Dr. Nicholson enjoyed nearly everything he did. He chose Family Medicine — one of the few branches of medicine that allows him to practice almost everything. Dr. Nicholson has always found there to be a unique and very special aspect of family medicine: family. In one visit, he can see a newborn baby, and the new parents and grandparents, all as patients. He also has the opportunity to watch that child grow into an adult with their own children. The long term and personal family relationships are what Dr. Nicholson finds incredible about Family Medicine —being able to make a difference in his patients’ medical care and lives is the icing on the cake.
