Patricia Dettenmeier’s areas of clinical interest include obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), and restless leg syndrome. She works with patients to provide a comprehensive history and physical exam, in-lab day and/or night sleep studies and home sleep tests, sleep therapies, prescriptions for oral medications, and referrals to board-certified dentists for oral appliances.
Her research interests include CPAP therapy and adherence, and claustrophobia in OSA and CPAP.
Dettenmeier is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
