Dr. Agyemang believes that the role of a physician is to listen, to heal, and to advocate for patients. She is also invested in medical education and she enjoys mentoring the next generation of doctors. Dr. Agyemang has worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Vermont School of Medicine and at the Ross School of Medicine. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition from Boston University and a Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.Dr Agyemang's scope of practice includes primary care for adults, preventative healthcare, annual wellness visits, physicals, women’s health, and management of chronic conditions. Dr. Agyemang also has expertise in nutrition, obesity and weight management. In her free time, Dr. Agyemang enjoys exploring different cultures through food and travel. She also loves to sing, dance, and spend time with her loved ones. Dr. Agyemang is fluent in Twi and continues to work on her Spanish.
