Priyesh Patel, MD, is a fellowship trained, dual board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity and microvascular surgery. He sees adult and pediatric patients with acute injuries and other orthopaedic conditions. Dr. Patel was raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and enjoys seeing and guiding his patients through the full recovery process so that patients can enjoy life to the fullest.
A committed lifelong learner, Dr. Patel received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed his fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He began his practice in 2010.
Today, Dr. Patel treats adults and children with a wide variety of conditions including carpal tunnel, arthritis, fractures and more. He brings compassion, empathy, and a commitment to help improve the lives of his patients. He feels it is a tremendous feeling to help patients regain their function by listening, educating and providing reassurance.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the Chicago Society for Surgery of the Hand. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his four children, following Chicago sports teams and NCAA basketball, and golfing.
