Rennier A Martinez, M.D., is a board-certified General Surgeon with a dedicated fellowship in Vascular Surgery, working at Baptist Health. Dr. Martinez performs a wide array of gastrointestinal, oncologic, and biliary operations. He focused his fellowship in complex endovascular aortic repair, carotid artery stenting and limb salvage. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2022, Dr. Martinez completed his general surgery residency at the University of Miami and his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee.
He is well experienced in fenestrated endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (FEVAR), carotid stenting (TCAR) and complex endovascular approaches to limb salvage. He’s also published multiple scientific papers in The Annals of Vascular Surgery and the Journal of Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Martinez’s approach to patient care is that of an advisor and advocate for his patients while simultaneously improving their health.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Martinez enjoys practicing martial arts and playing classical guitar.
