Ripa Patel, MD, MBA, FACC, is a board-certified physician specializing in cardiovascular disease with a sub-specialty in interventional cardiology. Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from University of Missouri – Kansas City. She then completed her residency at University of Kentucky and her fellowship with Medical College of Georgia and Mount Sinai Medical Center – Miami Beach.
Dr. Patel sees patients ages 18 and above for general and interventional cardiology. She performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, coronary stent, intravascular ultrasound, and intracoronary flow measurement.
Dr. Patel’s care philosophy is to provide patient-focused individualized care. The reason Dr. Patel went into the field of Cardiology is because she finds it very fascinating and dynamic. It is constantly growing and developing with advancements in medicine and technology that allows the lives of patients to improve in several ways. It also allows for impactful interactions with patients in a variety of settings.
Dr. Patel is originally from St. Louis. In her free time, she enjoys traveling.
