Sara Horras is a board-certified physician assistant practicing in orthopedic surgery. She obtained her undergraduate degrees in kinesiology and physician assistant studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. She earned her master’s in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Sara’s medical interests include ankle trauma/fracture management, bursitis, carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, cortisone injections, Dupuytren’s disease, fractures, rotator cuff disorders, strains and sprains, stress fractures, tendonitis, and trigger finger.
Sara is married and has two daughters. Currently, they have no pets, but her girls are trying very hard to convince her to get a dog! Most of her free time is spent taking care of her kids and being involved in their activities. When she does find a bit of free time, she enjoys doing puzzles, running, and hiking. She is a member of her local church and is also involved with her daughter’s girl scout troop.
As a family, they like to travel, especially anywhere that offers a warm climate. So far, Hawaii has been their favorite.
