Join us at our 2025 Travel Party for a sneak peek into the new travel calendar! This year, we’re bringing you unforgettable experiences, from Rock Out Weekend in the Hill Country to stunning landscapes in Iceland, National Parks tours, Texas State Parks escapes, and meteor showers under starry skies—and that’s just the start. You’ll also get a first look at adventures like kayaking and hiking trips, Big Bend, and Guadalupe National Parks. (And trust us, there are more surprises waiting!)

What to Expect:

1. Casual Presentation: We’ll showcase each trip on the 2025 calendar with a relaxed presentation format using a projector and mic, so you get all the details on each trip!

1. Trip Tables: Chat with trip leaders at dedicated tables, sign up to learn more about your favorite destinations, and even plan for future trips—we often repeat popular adventures!

1. Meet Fellow Travelers: Traveling is even better when you get to know your crew ahead of time. Forge friendships and connections that last well beyond the trip.

1. Food & Drink Specials at Axelrad: Enjoy happy hour specials, beer, house wine, Micheladas, and more. Luigi’s Pizzeria will be available to keep you fueled. Sometimes they have a pop-up food tables/trucks.

Parking & Meet-Up:

Parking: There is a dedicated parking lot and plenty of street parking. Do not park at HCC.

Where to Meet:

Under the downstairs covered area at Axelrad.  There are heaters and plenty of covered space.  You won’t be able to miss us, but we’ll have BCO / HTXO signs out anyway.

Bayou City Outdoors and HTXoutdoors are Houston’s premier social clubs for active adults! From hiking and biking to camping and kayaking, we bring people together for outdoor adventures and new friendships. Bayou City Outdoors welcomes all adults, while HTXoutdoors is perfect for young adults in their 20s and 30s who love to explore and socialize outdoors.
