2nd Annual Epic Cheese Fest

Cheese lovers, you don't want to miss this! Our 2nd Annual Epic Cheese Fest will feature free tastings and demonstrations with some of our favorite makers of artisan cheese from the Alps and beyond.

For our second annual Epic Cheese Fest, we've invited the makers, importers and industry icons behind some of our favorite cheeses, including:

Columbia Cheese: Alex, Alp Blossom, Gruyere 1655, OG Kristal

Gourmino: Hornbacher, Emmentaler, Juscht

Quality Cheese: Screamer, Old Witch

Mifroma: Tete de Moine

Fromi: Comte

Agour: Chevre & Brebis, Petit Agour

Guests will enjoy tastes of the cheeses above, along with opportunities to buy cheese and Alpine specialty foods to enjoy at home. Market Hall cheesemongers will be outside with hot, melty raclette poured over delicious accoutrements and Market Hall Bakery will be offering Mandelhörnchen (German almond horn) cookies. Berkeley's Squabisch Pretzels will be on hand, offering exclusive cheese-filled pretzels made just for Epic Cheese Fest and torpedo pretzel roll sandwiches, Paul Marcus Wines will offer tastes of Swiss wines and Oakland's Ghost Town Brewing will be pouring tastes of Geisterfaust pilsner for those 21+ only. ACRE will offer two specials for the day: Croque Madame with Mortadella &  Cheese Sauce and Potato Rosti with Beer Cheese Drizzle.
