The Azalea Storytelling Festival, held annually the first full weekend in March, is a vibrant celebration of storytelling that has been bringing together regional and national storytellers for over 25 years. Founded in 1997 by three local women and supported by renowned storyteller Donald Davis, the festival has grown from a single event to a year-round series of storytelling activities that engage and inspire communities.

This year, we are delighted to have Donald Davis, Josh Goforth, Michael Reno Harrell, and Sheila Arnold as our tellers, and Carol Cain as our festival emcee!

Join us for the 29th Annual Azalea Storytelling Festival, an unforgettable weekend celebrating the art of storytelling! Happening at the beautiful Callaway Auditorium on the campus of LaGrange College, this cherished tradition continues to bring nationally recognized storytellers to LaGrange, Georgia.

This year's lineup features performances by Donald Davis, Josh Goforth, Michael Reno Harrell, and Sheila Arnold—each known for captivating audiences with humor, heart, and unforgettable tales.

Whether you're a longtime fan of storytelling or a first-time attendee, the Azalea Storytelling Festival offers a unique experience to connect through the art of stories. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of one of the Southeast's premier storytelling events!
