SPLITBOARDING

SW Montana has some incredible backcountry zones. From Bozeman, you can see 4 different mountain ranges, all within driving distance. From mellow meadows to steep couloirs, there are lots of options for splitboarders of all ability and risk-tolerance levels.

SAFETY

Backcountry Safety is paramount at the Bozeman Splitfest. A representative from the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center (GNFAC) always gives a presentation on Friday night to discuss the season and the current snowpack.

There will also be options for backcountry safety clinics.

ALL EVENING — Vendors open for you to check out new gear and get demos for the weekend / free beer and NAs / meet local partners

7:00 PM — Light dinner
7:15 PM — Welcome back / recap of the day
7:30 PM — Local shred flick
8:00 PM — Raffle to benefit GNFAC (tickets sold at event)
10:00 PM — Doors close
