Black River Technical College is excited to have two speakers for this year’s Holocaust Survivor Series at the Randolph County Development Center in Pocahontas on Tuesday, October 29th at 9:00 am and Wednesday October 30th at 5:30 pm. This is a free event open to the public.

Local resident Al Bromberg, who was born in 1946 in a Displaced Persons Camp in Torino, Italy to Polish parents who survived Nazi Concentration and Death Camps, will share his family’s history and what they endured during and after the Holocaust.

Survivor Rachel Goldfarb, who was born in 1930 in Dokszyce, Poland just three miles from the Soviet Union border will also join us virtually from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. to give her eyewitness account of her and her family’s struggle during the Holocaust.
