Schedule:

11:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m: Boater Safety Class
Central Wisconsin Sail and Power Squadron will offer an 8 hour Boater Safety class at the Central Wisconsin Sports Show. Wisconsin requires any boat operator 12 and older born after Jan 1, 1989 to have a boating safety certificate. This class meets that requirement. Students will need to have a DNR number prior to the class which may be obtained from the Wisconsin DNR. Cost for the class is $40 and includes the boater safety book.

10:15 a.m - 2:30 p.m: Sports Show: WI Concealed Carry Certification Class
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.
