Featuring guest violinist Tomás Cotik

This year OES welcomes back Argentinian violinist Tomás Cotik as our featured guest performer. With OES Assistant Concertmaster Viet Block and Principal Cellist Zach Banks, Cotik will perform a selection of duos and trio by Borodin, Glière, Bartók and Albéniz. Also while in Pendleton, Cotik will present a masterclass to local string students and a lecture in collaboration with Blue Mountain Community College's Arts and Cultural Series.
Additional featured performances at the Chamber Music Festival include Shostakovich's Trio No. 2 Op. 67 presented by Concertmaster Lisa Robertson, cellist Ed Dixon and pianist Dr. James Cook, and a selection of Baroque and Renaissance vocal music directed by OES Chorale Rehearsal Conductor Carly Elder.
