Each show has an exciting line-up of indoor and outdoor exhibitors and attractions representing the breadth of the outdoor recreation industry: camping, fishing, hunting, RVing, ATVing, cycling, boating, kayaking, hiking, climbing, local and exotic guides and lodges, travel agents, guns, outdoor clothing and gear, advocacy groups and governmental agencies, seminars, and lots of prize giveaways and so much more.
Lake Shasta Caverns and Lake Shasta Dinner Cruises are two major attractions that can be found and enjoyed at the mountain lake 10 miles north of Redding, California. The two businesses will be featured at a booth at the 2025 ExpoSure NorCal outdoor and sportsmen's show in Anderson, California.
"We'll be providing information on the caverns, a national natural landmark, as well as information about the Lake Shasta dinner cruises and what they entail," said Matt Doyle, the general manager of the two attractions. "We're excited to bring activities that Lake Shasta Caverns has to offer from education to exploration."
A gemstone sluice activity will be part of the display and will be available for kids of all ages "including interested adults," Doyle explained, adding semi-precious stones will be available for finding and keeping. Hour-long guided walking tours of the caverns are provided after visitors take a boat ride across the lake from a visitors' center and then a short bus ride to the caverns' entrance.
"The caverns are a hidden gem in Northern California that attracts people from around the world," Doyle said. "On the tour, you'll see limestone solutional caverns and 38 different types of cave formations. You'll hear about the history and geology of the caverns and will be able to ask questions about how Mother Nature hollowed out a hillside."
Shasta Lake Business Owners Association is excited to represent its 19 business members at the upcoming five ExpoSure outdoors and sportsmen's shows.
The association represents the lake's six marinas as well as lodging, restaurants and other businesses that are located on or near the lake, a short 10-mile drive north of Redding, California, on I-5. Shasta Lake is the largest man-made lake in California and is known as the house boating capital of the world.
"We are excited to bring information on all the businesses, brochures and maps to the shows in order to educate and inform visitors about the services and activities offered at the lake," said Matt Doyle, president of the Shasta Lake Business Owners Association. "The six marinas each offer different products and services. We want to inform visitors about the house boats, the RV parks, campgrounds and cabins.
"These businesses have a passion for this lake and for the services that are provided," he added. "We are an outdoor recreation paradise from boating to hiking to swimming to fishing to kayaking and any other outdoor activity one can think of." This will be the first appearance at the ExpoSure shows by the Shasta Lake association.
