Cedar Valley Rocks & Minerals Society holds an annual show, usually the fourth weekend of March at Hawkeye Downs.

-The show includes exhibits, demonstrations, dealers, programs and children's activities.
-Children's Activities include: Making fossil footprint casts, hunting for rocks in our famous pebble pit, and sluicing for minerals at the Gem Flume.
-Other Features: a fluorescent display, special programs, special exhibits of rocks, fossils and gems
-Admission Donation Requested is $3 donation for adults over 18; $1 for students 12-18, and Free for under 12
-Youth Groups with Leader are Free
