According to Ayurveda, there are three seasons – Pitta, Vata, Kapha – and each season has very distinct characteristics. Bringing awareness to the qualities present in our environment and the qualities present in ourselves during these seasons will help us stay healthy and keep our bodies in balance.
Join TYS teacher Anna Martin to discuss the qualities of the Kapha season. Together we will review seasonal changes in lifestyle, and general seasonal changes in diet. You will be lead through a practice that will reflect the approach to Kapha season – including attention to movement, meditation and a connection to the deep wisdom of the season of hibernation. All of these winter self-care practices will come together to bring balance to our overall wellbeing. Open to all, no previous experience necessary.
