In director Andrew L. Stone’s Academy Award Nominated noir thriller, Julie Benton’s (Doris Day) life takes a dark turn after a confrontation with her dangerously jealous husband, Lyle (Louis Jourdan), on a perilous coastal road. When she learns Lyle may have orchestrated her first husband’s death, Julie realizes the depth of his violence and attempts to flee with help from a family friend, igniting a deadly pursuit from which there may be no escape.
