Start the new year on a positive note by connecting with nature at Eisenhower State Park! Take part in a 1.5-mile hike with a park ranger.
Duration: 60 - 90 minutes
Hike Info: The trail is moderately difficult with some steep and rocky areas. Depending on conditions, the creek area could be muddy. Slip hazards are possible, so use caution. It will be a mile and a half there and back. Additional parking is available at the Armadillo Hill day use area.
Audience: All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by a parent for the duration of the hike, and all pets must remain on a leash.
Fees: Texas State Park Annual Pass holders may come free of charge, otherwise, normal day use fees apply.
Remember to bring plenty of water and apply sunscreen and bug spray before arriving. Bringing meaningful resolutions is highly encouraged. Some of the terrain will be steep and rocky. Make sure you have appropriate footwear and dress for the season!
