Step into the New Year on the right foot with time outdoors. Begin your healthy lifestyle resolution with a guided hike on the Delta View Trail at Cane Creek State Park. Join park staff at Pavilion 1 by the playground to kick off 2025 with jotting down your new year’s resolutions. Before hitting the trails: dress in layers appropriate for the weather, wear comfortable footwear, pack the drinking water, and feel free to bring binoculars. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash. Expect to hike about a half mile out on the trail and return. The end of the hike will yield a campfire and hot beverages for cold hikers. Participants will also receive a First Day Hike sticker! Explore outside and enjoy nature, bring the family or a friend, and start a new year tradition!
