Start the new year with a hike! Join a park ranger for a guided hike of the Family Loop at Riverbend Park, one of the routes on the Catawba County 2024/25 Trail Challenge!

About the hike: This 2-mile, family-friendly loop will take us along the Catawba River and through an upland forest with opportunities to view and learn about the various habitats, plants and wildlife found within the park.

Meet at the park office for a prompt start at 10am; no advance registration is required. Bring water and snacks and wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the hike and expected weather. The event is free and open to all.
