First Day Hike 2025. Start the year off with some fresh air and exercise. Join us our Rangers for a moderately strenuous hike from the Pine Creek Campground to the top of Phosphate Hill. This viewpoint overlooks Midway and the Heber Valley. Meet at the Visitor Center. 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Total distance is roughly 5 miles with an elevation gain of 900 ft. Bring appropriate clothing and equipment for this snowy hike. There are no additional fees for this activity. Regular park entry fees apply.
