Start your year off strong by meeting our Park Historian at the Heritage Trailhead (at the information kiosk in the Upper Improved Campground) to take a hike up to Alabama's High Point! Along the way, you'll learn more about the history of Cheaha State Park, and the Civilian Conservation Corps. This is a 0.2 mile trail one way, and relatively easy, although very rocky.

Registration is not required for this program. Paying online covers your gate fee, and gives you access to the entire park and all programs happening that day. You can pay the gate fee when you arrive or online before you arrive.
