Hybridizing theatre, performance art, and dance, Genesis’s work experiments with the boundaries of live performance. After a sold-out and acclaimed run at the Color Club in 2023, Genesis is remounting there are no dead people for 4 nights only at the Chicago Athletic Association. Conceived and directed by Amanda Dunne Acevedo and Lindsey Barlag Thornton and devised with guest artists Carol Crosby, Holly Gabelmann, Jordan Harris, Alex Hovi, Grace Needlman, and Lauren Steinberg.
