Join local historian and author of the upcoming Black, White, and Yellow Taxis: Morris County and The Green Book, Janet W. Foster, for a bite-size look at the local establishments included in the Negro Motorist Green Book, first published in 1936.  In a two-year project with a team of scholars from around the state, Foster identified local sites listed in the Green Book, including in Madison and Morristown, and through her research emerges a fascinating view of African-American communities throughout the state in the mid-20th century.
