Admission to this class is with instructor approval or completion of the beginner course. Our project is an American bison in the round. A pattern and wood will be supplied. The students must bring their own tools including: a ruler, a pencil, two 6 inch c-clamps, a carving arm, and a non-slip pad. –OR- Students may supply their own pattern and wood and receive guidance on their project. Tools must be supplied by the student.
All classes are taught by Doug Bathke, a Trustee at the museum, who has been carving for 61+ years and teaching for 55+. Registration and pre-payment are required by Wednesday, March 5th. Please call 716-693-1885 to register. Classes are a series and cannot be taken individually. Fees are non-refundable after the first class. Maximum enrollment is 12 students for the Intermediate/Advanced classes. All classes are ages 18 and up
