Advocating for Justice & Equality

The Trump administration is attempting to erase the historical contributions of women and remove National Women’s Month from the calendar, but we will not be silenced. Regardless of our age, political affiliation, birthplace, race, religion, scientific beliefs, clothing choices, sexual orientation, physical abilities, or the gender assigned to us at birth—we stand united with all women from every background. Our bodies are our own, and we refuse to be confined by outdated expectations or restrictive ideologies.

Trump and his administration are wielding unchecked power, abusing executive authority, and disregarding the rule of law as they push the dangerous agenda of Project 2025. Republican representatives are either complicit or standing by in silence as the president fires thousands of hardworking Americans without concern for the consequences, punishes businesses for supporting diversity and inclusion, rips immigrant families apart, drives up costs for working families while giving tax breaks to millionaires, and retaliates against anyone who dares to oppose him—including the free press.

On March 8th, we must stand in solidarity with all women—transgender, cisgender, women of color, immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with disabilities. Our diversity is our strength, and our unity is our power. We must continue to organize, speak out, and demand policies that uphold the dignity and rights of every woman. If we do not make ourselves seen and heard, this assault on our freedoms will continue until there is nothing left to fight for.

Let us honor the legacy of those who came before us by recommitting ourselves to the fight for equality. Let’s envision a future where every woman has the opportunity to thrive, free from discrimination and oppression.
