It’s Muggy Out There: 2nd Annual Mug Show

Visitors will find mugs of every shape and size overflowing with tasty cocoa upon purchase at the Morean Center for Clay.

The new exhibition, It’s Muggy Out There, will feature endless interpretations of the classic beverage vessel and bring together a reason to clink a glass for the holidays. Highlighting works from St. Petersburg College, Tampa Preparatory School, The Hive, and the Clay Co-op, the show brings together local institutions to fill up the community’s cup and sip to a delicious cause.

Art professors and studio leaders curate their student and co-op member submissions for the exhibition, bringing both hand built and wheel thrown creations to the mix. Expect the unexpected at It’s Muggy Out There and delight your eyes with the melody of techniques displayed.

The exhibition is free and open to the public from Wednesday to Saturday,10am-5pm. The show will be on display from December 14 to December 28.
