In a time of increasing division, First Presbyterian Church is honored to host Dr. Amy-Jill Levine, a renowned Jewish New Testament scholar, for a powerful lecture on the deep connections between Jesus and Judaism. At a moment when understanding and unity are more vital than ever, Dr. Levine brings historical insight, humor, and a commitment to interfaith dialogue, helping Christians and Jews engage with their shared texts and traditions.

Her lecture, Jesus and Judaism: The Connection Matters, will explore how recognizing Jesus within his Jewish context enriches our understanding of His teachings, piety, and politics. By examining diverse interpretations of Scripture, attendees will gain valuable insights on how faith traditions can build bridges, foster respect, and promote peace in today’s polarized world.
