The Museum of Sonoma County and the Redwood Empire Chinese Association are proud to present a celebration of Lunar New Year. Featuring amazing performances by the RECA including lion dances,traditional Chinese music, a traditional tea ceremony, and a Xinjiang performance.

RECA was founded in 1988 and is a 501c3 organization with a focus on sharing Chinese culture. RECA also helps newly arrived people to better integrate into Sonoma County life. RECA is an independent organization funded by its members, and sustained by an endowment given by the parents of Joe Wang, one of RECA's founders. RECA has a membership of about 200 families of many nationalities and ethnicities. Everyone is welcome to join. 

This celebration is FREE for all visitors.
