The Lauren Vaughn Memorial Foundation will host the LV5K walk/run on April 19, 2025 at the Alexandria Senior High School softball field. This memorial walk/run is to remember and honor the life of Lauren Vaughn and her commitment to the field of medicine. Money raised will go towards the Lauren Vaughn Memorial Scholarship at NSU for the Accelerated BS to BSN Program to benefit future nurses and to raise awareness for drunk and impaired driving. 

Event Schedule:

1 mile start at 8:00am

5K start at 8:30am

Awards given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Overall Male and Female, and for Individual Age Groups in both the 5K and 1 mile races.

(5K Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over).

(1 Mile Age Groups: 5 & under, 6-9, 10-13, 14-17, 18 & over).

Awards Ceremony - The 1 Mile will be announced after the 1 mile race is complete, and the 5K will be announced following the 5K race

We have a limited amount of medals ordered. Order early to ensure you get one!

Registrations received on or before 11:59 on Monday, March 31st, will receive a shirt at packet pickup. Late and Race Day registrants may receive a shirt if any extras are available. 

The price will increase for the 1 mile and 5K on April 6, 2025.
