The Mardi Gras season has been a longer one than usual this year but the finale is now here. Starting this Friday, February 28th, there will officially be Mardi Gras weekend leading up to the grand finale on Tuesday.

Get ready for five straight days of parades, live music, and events going on in the area. There are a ton of events going on in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana starting Friday and rolling until Fat Tuesday. We have made you a list of the ones we know about and here they are.

Schedule:

World Famous Cajun Extravaganza and Gumbo Cook-off inside the Lake Charles Event Center Exhibition Hall. Admission is $10 per person and 5 and under are free.
