The Mardi Gras season has been a longer one than usual this year but the finale is now here. Starting this Friday, February 28th, there will officially be Mardi Gras weekend leading up to the grand finale on Tuesday.

Get ready for five straight days of parades, live music, and events going on in the area. There are a ton of events going on in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana starting Friday and rolling until Fat Tuesday. We have made you a list of the ones we know about and here they are.

Schedule:

the city of Iowa, Louisiana's Chicken Run. Starts at the Knights of Columbus hall on Highway 90 in Iowas at 8:00 am.

Wayne Toups is playing live at The Cajuns Wharf located at 3500 Ryan Street in Lake Charles on the parade route. He will play in the afternoon until the parade passes the Wharf.

Jeeps On Parade starting at 2:00 pm down Ryan Street

Motor Gras Parade starting at 3:00 pm down Ryan Street

Mardi Gras Southwest Louisiana's Krewe Of Krewe's Parade starting at 5:00 pm. This huge parade rolls down Ryan Street to Sale Road in Lake Charles.
