The composers of Dresden were among the most prolific and gifted writers of the 18th century. Their musical influence has educated the ears and tastes of countless composers and performers through the centuries, yet many of their names have been all but forgotten. Parish House Baroque will delve into this treasure trove of gems by composers including Zelenka, Schütz, Hasse and Heinichen, featuring works both for instruments and voice.
