Learn what design elements and items are needed to create the ultimate backyard oasis utilizing custom decks, patios, pergolas, patio covers, fire pits, lighting, outdoor kitchens, hot tubs and swim spas.

12:30pm - Create an Oasis on a Deck, Patio, or Balcony - Melinda Meyers
Create an outdoor oasis on your patio, deck, or balcony.  Whether it’s a space to escape, share with others, or entertain, we will look at ways to make it your space.  We will look at plantings, container gardens, and other ways to screen unwanted views and create a sense of privacy. Then, we’ll fill your oasis with sounds, fragrant plants, and beauty to create the space of your dreams.

2:00pm - Greenhouse Grove Award Presentations
Join us as we crown this year's Greenhouse Grove winners.  We will award the school with the "best techincal execution" their trophy as well name the "Fan-Favorite" Greenhouse.

The NARI Milwaukee Foundation is debuting its first-ever NextGen Trades Challenge for local students.  This year's themed project is Greenhouse Grove.  A collection of eight greenhouses designed and built by area high school students will be on display in a beautiful landscape created by LandCrafters.

Participating high schools include Franklin, Greendale, Mukwonago, Muskego, Oak Creek, St. Francis, South Milwaukee, and Whitnall. 

Each greenhouse will be judged by a panel of design and construction professionals appointed by the NARI Milwaukee Foundation.  There will be a trophy given to the school with the "best technical execution" as determined by our judges.  There will also be a "fan-favorite" award given out to the school that receives the most votes from the show attendees.
