  $10-$12, kids 15 under free

Don Engebretson, the seasoned landscape designer and award-winning garden writer, Cindy Gelormini, a color consultant and Benjamin Moore Color Expert and licensed Journeyman/Master Electrician Adam Corbin will be featured at the 35th annual New Jersey Home & Garden Show at the New Jersey Convention Center in Edison, February 28-March 2. Visitors will also be able to explore five glorious gardens created by Longford Landscape, Mike’s Country Market, Brothers Exterior, Monti Landscaping and Blue Mountain Landscaping and Hardscaping.

Known as The Renegade GardenerÔ, Engebretson will identify design principles that are present in America’s finest private gardens as well as the mayhem caused by common gardening myths. He invites visitors to bring photos of their yards and landscaping plans so that he can critique them and offer solutions to challenges.

Gelormini, called The Paint Diva, will share tips from her new book The Paint Diva Method: A Practical Guide to Choosing Colors in Every Room in Your Home. She will address how to choose the right shade of white, the correct trim and the best finish for durability and style. She’ll tell you how to sample colors and why copying the colors your friend used doesn’t work. From the Summit, NJ area, she has more than 25 years in the interior design field.

Corbin with Corbin Electrical Services will illustrate the importance of hiring licensed and insured electrical contractors. The licensed Journeyman and Master Electrician will also detail the benefits of generator back-up and how your EV can power your house.

At the show, visitors will gather ideas and see products from more than 100 remodelers, contractors, interior designers, landscapers and kitchen & bath designers – mostly from locally-owned businesses such as Doors Outlet faux wood cladding facades, New Jersey Deer Control and Hempwood, American made flooring. Handcrafted work of artisans will be for sale in the show’s Marketplace.
