2024 Newkirk Chamber Christmas Parade: Santa Claus is Coming to Town

The Newkirk Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 2024 Newkirk Christmas Parade! Join us for an evening of holiday spirit, celebration, and community fun with this year’s festive theme: Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Parade Highlights:

Parade Theme: “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” - Bring your most creative float ideas to life, and compete to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place awards for floats that best capture the theme!

- New Parade Route: Starting at 4th & Main Street and traveling south to 9th Street, with a return to the staging area on Maple Street Make sure to check the route map for more details!

- Snow Prince & Princess Crowning: Gather at the courthouse at 5:15 pm for the crowning ceremony of this year’s Snow Prince and Princess, a highlight of the evening!

- Meet Santa at the Amphitheater: After the parade, visit Santa Claus at the Newkirk Amphitheater for photos and holiday greetings

Parade Information:
Parade Line-Up: Begins at 5:00 pm on Maple Street, facing north East side rows will enter first, followed by west side rows
Candy: Walkers are encouraged to hand out candy along the route for everyone’s safety Please refrain from throwing candy from floats
Parade Order: Featuring Law Enforcement, the Color Guard, Grand Marshal, City Leaders, Miss Newkirk, Prince and Princess, Newkirk Marching Band, school floats, business floats, church floats, and fire trucks as the grand finale!
