Austin Shakespeare Presents MAHABHARATA TALES

Our new theatrical production explores stories from the epic poem featuring "The Bhaghavad Gita" as well as fight scenes from the civil battles between two ancient, kingly families. Imaginative and powerful, mortals interact with gods. If you love the Greek epics, this is for you. Those familiar with the Hindu tales will be intrigued by the use of contemporary music (by Austin singer Nagavalli), dance and color, plus our Austin cast of 19 actors.
