Since 2003, San Francisco based Petty Theft has been touring the western United States, performing Tom Petty's songs true to the originals and in the spirit of the Heartbreaker's live shows. Their sold-out tours, with names that give a nod to Petty's own, have ignited the hearts of thousands of Petty fans hungry to hear his music live. Petty Theft has been named the Best Tribute/Cover band for four years in a row by the North Bay Bohemian, as well as collecting accolades throughout California. They have performed with Steve Ferrone (drummer for Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers) multiple times and opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd and Tesla.
