Race for Open Space 5K and 1 Mile Walk
Join the Seashore Striders for year #2 and the new and exciting event in Lewes, DE as the Seashore Striders are teaming up with The Open Space Alliance Campaign (osalewes.org) for a 5k Run & 1-mile "fun walk" for a great fundraising cause. The Open Space Alliance Campaign is working to maintain the Fourth St. Preserve in its natural state with public access and walking trails.
Course: 3.11 mile course from George H.P. Smith Park to 4th St. and into the Pilottown Development to the turnaround and back. The 1 mile walk will turnaround near the "open space" and back.
Awards:
5k Individual Awards...Overall Male & Female, Master Male & Female, and top 3 finishers in 10 year age groups from 9 & U to 70 & O
There are no awards for the 1 mile "fun walk"
