Activities are filling in the schedule every day, plus two official SF Beer Week Kick Off events Opening Night Brews and Bites and SFBW Fest will be showcasing the best of Bay Area craft beer, headlining a busy, beery 10 days across the region.

2:00 p.m: Craft Beer Fest at Invitational Competition
Come join us at Out of the Barrel San Carlos for a day filled with amazing craft beer. This in-person event will take place in the outdoor courtyard at our San Carlos location (rain or shine). Get ready to taste a wide variety of unique and delicious craft beers from our favorite craft brewery partners from the Bay Area and beyond.

At this premier event, you'll have the opportunity to sample different types of beer, from crisp lagers and hoppy IPAs to creative sours, in a commemorative branded taster glass. Discover new favorites, chat with fellow beer enthusiasts, and meet the brewers. The festival will also feature live music, food for purchase, and fun activities for all ages.

The event's highlight is the Invitational Competition where top breweries will showcase their best brews among four targeted categories: Light Ale/Lager, West Coast IPA, Hazy IPA, and Sour. Witness the excitement as an expert panel of judges reviews all entries in a blind competition where the best liquid takes home the bragging rights. Additionally, all participants get to select their favorites as a separate People's Choice competition.
