Join us for the Sassafras Mountain 8-Mile Challenge, an exhilarating race that takes you to the highest point in South Carolina! This unique course combines a challenging ascent with beautiful scenery, making it perfect for both seasoned runners and adventurous spirits.

Elevation Gain: Significant climb to Sassafras Mountain, the tallest peak in South Carolina.

The race kicks off with a long, steep road segment that takes runners up the winding path to the summit of Sassafras Mountain. Prepare for a rigorous climb that will test your endurance and determination. As you ascend, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, with opportunities to catch your breath and take in the natural beauty of the area.
After reaching the peak, the course transitions to a scenic trail. Participants will experience a thrilling descent that winds through picturesque terrain, challenging their agility and speed.
