SHOUT Movie Night is a film series presented and curated by BAO (Birmingham AIDS Outreach) in conjunction with Sidewalk Cinema + Film Festival. Our goal is to offer a diverse and inclusive film series that ensures all members of our community are represented. Combining health education and queer-related cinema, SHOUT aims to celebrate Birmingham's LGBTQ+ community and allies while both educating and entertaining our audiences. Please arrive an hour early for a pre-screening event and stay for a post-screening event both in the lobby. *This is a free event. Reservations are strongly recommended but not required. Seating is first come, first served*
Film Synopsis: Jules is a drag artist in London who withdraws into himself and loses his career after a horrific attack. Months later, he recognizes one of his assailants in a gay sauna and quickly realizes he has the perfect opportunity to get revenge.
